Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat, dizziness, ear pain and heartburn . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like strep throat , viral pharyngitis and acid reflux . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to both upper respiratory track infection and laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) . Sometimes infection from upper respiratory track spread to ear through eustachian tube and cause infection there . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and examination with laryngoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin , anti inflammatory and decongestants along with expectorant . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist if he/she find problem to be related with acid reflux . For now do warm saline gargles and take ibuprofen of acetaminophen for pain .
