hi. I ve been having a sore throat for a few days now. nothing to extreme but sore and did have body aches yesterday a well today I blew my nose and some blood came out with my snot and tonight when I sucked in from my nose and spit a little blood came out. should I be worried? I feel I am almost over my sickness after a few days of resting but I don t know if I should see a dr about the blood?
Blood in the sputum is a common event in many mild respiratory conditions, including upper respiratory infections, bronchitis, and asthma.Although the blood can be worrying, it is usually not a cause for concern, especially in young or otherwise healthy people.I suggest antibiotics for 3 to 5 days for the infection to control.Salt water gargle can be done.Avoid violently blowing the nose or coughing.
Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.
