Suggest Treatment For Spinal Stenosis And Severe Pain In Leg

I am taking 2 different doses of morphine, Tylenol arthritis, advil and gabapentin for what I understand is spinal stenosis, bone spur. These are just taking the edge off so I am still in great pain. Can t lie down or walk more than a few feet, can t sit with pressure on the right side, I get numbness, my foot is colder than the other one. Any suggestions on anything else I can try. these drugs make me not want to eat and of course constipating so between all these drugs and trying to eat I am not getting along very well. I will likely have to wait 3 - 4 month just for the appointment with neurosurgeon. I have had 3 epidural steroid injections but they did not work.

Hello,

Spinal stenosis due to spinal spur may cause both lower limb pain or tingling in the lower limbs. Use tablet Pregabalin 75 mg for one week. Tablet Nortriptyline 10 mg for one week. If the symptoms not improved may need surgical decompression. Avoid weight lifting or climbing stairs. Please consult with your neurosurgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
