Suggest Treatment For Spinal Stenosis, Back Pain And Numbness In Thigh
I just had a C-5/6 fusion a month ago. I have spinal stenosis in my Cervical part of the spine with degenerative disc. Today, All of the sudden I have a sharp pain, possible siatica on the right side. Hard to sit down. Also, my right thigh feels numb.

Hi, Thanks for the query. I have read your query & understand your concern. In my view you need Either MRI or CT scan to exactly diagnose the cause & finalizing diagnosis followed by consultation of a spinal surgeon. Treatment offered can include- - Postural changes ( leaning forward while in standing/ walking.. pain is reduced,/ sleeping with knees flexed and drawn to abdomen reduces pain in sleeping posture. - physiotherapy/ physical therapy, - Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. - surgery.( laminectomy.) thanks.
