What Does Osteoarthritis And Spinal Stenosis Mean?

I have lower back pain. It hurts in my lower back on both sides. The more I move around the worse it hurts. Does not hurt in my legs or arms or neck. But I now have numbness in my left chin and bottom lip. Had xrays which shows osteo arthritis and possible spinal stenois. Is it possible a nerve in my back is causing the numbness

Hello thank you for writing us here.
it is possible that you can get ankylosing stenosis of lumbar vertebrae and affecting your cervical spine as well.
the possible cause of numbness could be because the cervical spine may compress the nerves which results into numbness. You should go for physiotherapy and you can do some exercises which the physiotherapist tells you so you can get relief from your symptoms.

best regards,
Dr Gunjan
