Suggest Treatment For Spiral Fracture On Little Finger

I broke my finger two weeks ago, it was a spiral fracture on the lower section of my pinky finger, they didnt have to put in any screws or anything because the bone didnt move out of place. I have an xray next week to see how well its healed. Im wondering what the usual heal time is for this type of thing? And if i have any hope of being cleared to go back to athletics soon? Also ive been using a laser (borrowed from a chiropractor) on it multiple times a day to hopefully speed healing. Do you know anything about this and do you think it will help?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The spiral fracture of little finger will heal with immobilization. I suggest you to consult your orthopedist for clinical assessment and cast application for immobilization. 2-3 weeks will be required for fracture repair.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
