Suggest Treatment For Sporadic Lightheadedness, With Blood Pressure On The Lower Side

I have been experiencing lightheadedness off/on for the last month or so. My blood pressure normally runs low - 115/90 to 90/60. Recently it has gotten as low as 88/54. Do I need to be concerned about this? Should I see a Dr.? I did have blood work done last week during my annual exam and it was all fine.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sporadic lightheadedness, with blood pressure on the lower side. yes low Blood pressure can cause symptoms like dizziness, headache, fatigue, loss of consciousness .

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query asthma , middle ear infection , labyrinthitis , hypotension or heart rhythm disorder. I would suggest ou to consult cardiologist for proper diagnosis and to rule out more serious condition first .

the symptoms can also occur due to condition like UTI. Doctor may order ECG , TMT along with complete blood profile and check vitals. and treat accordingly . Doctor may refer you to ENT specialist for ear problem . Drink plenty of water .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
