Suggest Treatment For Sticky Stools And Gastric Issues
I am experiencing lower gastro problems....small amount of dark sticky stool...that slips out and I don t even realize it has happened until, I go to urinate and notice it is there when I wipe myself off! Sometimes, it is enough to mess up my underwear...which I don t know that it has happened. When wiping off, I have to wipe and wipe until it is cleaned off and use baby wipes as well! It is crazy! When I do have a bm, it is a small amount...little finger size and is the same consistency of the slips that I mentioned above. Should I get this checked out... it has been like this the past 6 days! I am a 63 year old woman and weigh about 155 lbs. and eat healthy a diet.
As per your query you have symptoms of sticky stools and gastric issues which seems to be due to bacterial/viral infection caused by ingestion of some unwanted food material and which is leading to an electrolyte imbalance in your body.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to
- Take plenty of fluids along with this to take boiled water as well.
- Eat more fruits and vegetables.
- Avoid sharp, spicy food substances.
I would suggest you consult a gastroenterologist for proper examination. The doctor may order a stool test, endoscopy and ultrasound. The doctor may change your medicine or prescribe laxative, H2 blockers or antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
