Suggest Treatment For Stomach Ache In A Child?
Hi my 5 year old boy was complaining of ear ache today then it went off and now he's woken 4 times since 7.30pm complaining of really bad stomach ache he keeps shouting out in pain saying it hurts I've given him calpol and a water bottle any other suggestions please?

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
The possibiliteis are gastritis or viral infecion
You can give him lanzoprazole 15 mg once daily before food
Also cyclopam or other antispasmodics to relieve gripping pain
I usually give 5ml as and when required
you can wait before starting antibiotics.
If not settling get him evaluated by physician
