General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In my opinion You may suffer from gastritis. Gastritis is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach.

The most common symptoms include:
abdominal pain,
vomiting( sometimes with blood),
burning in the stomach,
loss of appetite.

Gastritis is caused by excessive alcohol use, stress, medications ( like anti-inflammatory drugs) and Helicobacter pylori ( bacteria) which colonized the stomach and is one of the most important causes. Almost 80% of the population is infected by Helicobacter pylori by most of the people do not have any signs.

Tests used to determine whether H. pylori infection is present are:
endoscopy - doctor may take tissue samples and than these samples will be analyzed for H. pylori infection,
breath test, blood test, and stool test.

If the test for Helicobacter pylori will be positive Your doctor will prescribe You antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors to kill the bacteria. Drugs to reduce acid production like H2- blockers may help relieves gastritis pain.
You should Avoid irritating foods and alcohol.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
