Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain

Hello my father is nearly 90 for the last two weeks he has been unwell, he has complained about stomach pain, wind, feeling like he wants to vomit but doesn t . When we were having dinner I noticed that he looked yellow. The next morning his urine was very dark, he went to his doctor and he said you have a stomach virus. A week has past and he still no better now he is saying he has itching to the skin when I checked his skin I noticed there is no rash. He also went and got a ct scan on his stomach done today. Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.

Going through the symptoms I feel your father is having some Liver problem that is leading to Jaundice and Indigestion.
A CT scan will reveal any problem in the liver but I advise you also get a blood test called Liver Function test which will give us an idea about his status of Liver .

Till you get the reports of scan and blood test , avoid oily and fatty food for him , Avoid Non veg food for him , give him more fruits and Vegetables .
You can ask your doctor for a digestive Syrup called Aristozyme which will help a lot in his digestion .

Kindly revert back once you get Scan and blood report.
