Suggest Treatment For Stuffy Ear With Mucus
Just saw an ent for my 2 year old son whom has had 5 ear infection this year and keeps a stuffy nose with hard thick mucous! He also has bloody nose all the time! She looked at his ears and said they were ok but he just got off an antibiotic for step! She recommend adenoids being taken out but didn't do am x ray is this sound right?

X rays should have been done , as they will confirm the presence of adenoids.
You can take normal saline nose drops and decongestant syrups .
These will help in opening up the nose.
You could wait as your son is just 2yrs.
Adenoid if enlarged are to be removed by surgery only.
