Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Knee Pain After Falling Down
My wife is 39 year old with a bulky structure . Her weight is over 120 Kg. She fell down & injured her left knee on 08.8.2012. Now she has sever pain around her knee from that day. Injured area is slightly swollen. What treatment she require. Please help.

Severe pain and swelling are suggestive of an internal injury to the knee joint structures. This can be evaluated by an MRI scan. She needs complete rest and can use a knee brace till then for relief.
