Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms you are suffering from
PERICORONITIS that is the inflammation of gum flap that surrounds the wisdom tooth..
It is commonly caused due to infection in the gums around wisdom tooth due to food deposition and
bacterial growth in that area that causes inflammation leading to swelling and pain..
The medications that are prescribed to you are correct and can be taken and along with medication do warm saline gargles..
Keep the area clean and gargle after meals to prevent food deposition in that area..
Once the swelling gets reduced and as the tooth is already erupting in a slanting direction, it is better to get it extracted to avoid further discomfort..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
