Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Big Toe
Hi there, I went for a 3.5miles walk this morning and all of a sudden had this sharp pain in my right big toe. It only hurts when I walk. It doesn t look swollen but I am not able to feel much around the top of my right big toe. It s almost a numbing sensation. Please help.

It could be a paronychia or infection of the nail bed. A short course of antibiotics will be helpful.
Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxiclav. If there is pus collection, it must be drained.
