Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems that if you do not have tooth problem then sudden occurrence of swelling in taking carrot can be either due to
ALLERGIC REACTION to carrot or due to some chemicals which could be present over the surface of the carrot due to improper washing or cleaning before eating it.
In this case there caused an allergic reaction leading to swelling and inflammation which is appearing as a bruised appearance.
Along with
advil which is an anti-inflammatory painkiller containing
Ibuprofen you need to take some antihistamine containing medicine like
Allegra to get relief.
Along with it you can apply ice packs over the bruised swelling to reduce the inflammation and swelling.
Maintain good hydration by drinking plenty of water.
Take
soft diet to avoid further discomfort.
Don't get anxious and keep calm. You will gradually get improved and if there are any more symptoms appearing like rashes, itching, hives, breathlessness or the swelling increases you should consult a doctor.
Hope your query is solved..
