Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Throat

My tonsils, lymph nodes, ulva (i think thats what it is called) are all swollen, my throat and tonsils has what looks like sores on them, but I have not had a fever for the past six days. The pain is just about unbearable now, but I dont want to go to the doctor if its nothing more then a cold causing it. I have pictures of my throat.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query it seems like severe infection in throat that can be Bacterial or Viral in nature..
The swollen tonsils, Lymphadenopathy, UVULITIS are all due to infection..
I would suggest you to take antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin, Anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
Chew Vitamin C pellet and use a humidifier in your room..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Drink plenty of water..
In case of no improvement in a week consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
I find this answer helpful
