The other day i was working in the garden and got some mud in my right eye. I can straight in a washed it out with cold clean water aand removed the few bits of mud i could see from the eye. It seemed fine for the rest of the day. that evening it started feeling a bit sore although not red or itchy. I treaated it with Brolene (propamidine isetionate 0.1%) and it started feeling a bit better but by the following afternoon it again felt quite gritty inside. Had a telephone chat with my doctor and he has given Chloramphenicol ointment 1%ww. Its the caruncle that is red and sore with little white dots on (right eye only) Ive been using the Chloramphenicol for nearly a day but nothing changed.
