Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am getting an ultrasound for swollen lymph in groin. My leg has been aching with shooting pain on and off. I thought it was a hyrnia, but the Dr. thinks it is a swollen lymph node less than a centimeter. Can this cause so much pain in my leg where i have to limp sometimes?
Most of the time less than one centimeter swollen lymphnode in groin does not cause pain in leg.Shooting pain on and off if more on bending it should be differentiated from sciatica.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Krishnakanth k.
