Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I found a swollen nodule in the front of my throat yesterday while applying my lotion. Never noticed it before. My doctor cannot see me until the 20th of July. Should I seek sooner care? I am worried. It is only bothersome if I mess with it. So I do not touch it
The most common lumps or swellings are enlarged lymph nodes. These can be caused by bacterial or viral infections, or other rare causes. I suggest to do a blood count and if the nodule persist more than 2 weeks take an appointment with your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
