General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Most probably it is due to sprain or contusion. As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. You can also apply ice packs for faster recovery. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedics and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
