Suggest Treatment For Swollen Painful Tonsils
I have swollen tonsils... very painful.. taking 600 mg ibuprofen every 3 hours.. not doing much help at all. My tonsils aren't white or spotty.. jusst very red and inflammed, with holes in them. My doctor just prescribed me a "zpack"?? Will that help my pain? Will vicoden help ?? Or tremmedol? The ibuprofen isnt helping at all and im taking large amounts

Infection need to be ruled out, on tentative basis antibiotic could be added and the best option would be Tab Azithromycin 500 mg once in day for three days for the pain Tab Diclofenac 50 mg twice in day may help "Povidone Iodine gargle can be tried, be patience this would come around, avoid cold drinks, instead have a hot drinks, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
