Suggest Treatment For Swollen Tonsils

Hi I'm anne 23 y/o, had a flu last week fever sore throat body malaise. after 2-3 days i felt better but i knew my sore throat was still there but pain was already tolerable so i thought if i just ignore it will heal by itself in a couple more days. after a week, my left tonsil had gotten bigger it reached my uvula. it gave me the most excruciating pain even pain to my left ear. couldnt swallow and talk at all without being teary-eyed i cry mostly at night coz thats when it hurts the most. tried home remedies for 2 days but dint work do took azithromycin im on my 3rd now but pain and inflammed tonsil is still there. it has like tiny white blisters on it and red sorta cut. please HELP ME. what is wrong? what should I do?

Hello,
You require a course of antibiotics preferably of the penicilloin group.
You can take pain killers like tylenol or ibuprofen.
Do warm salt water gargling.
