A friend of mine is on lexapro, nortryptaline, and xyzal. She has been feeling nauseous and anxious for about 4 months. A neuro just added a migraine Med and endoscopy showed signs of celiac. She is only 19 and until now has been healthy. Now she doesn t want to leave the house and feels sick all the time.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Celiac disease is diagnosed by combined endoscopy findings, serological findings and histopathology results.
I suggest you get serology done along with a biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
