Suggest Treatment For Thigh Pain And Walking Difficulty Post Injury

Hi, I slipped in a pool of water on some tile, (a melted ice cube), causing me to do a very fast complete split. I heard a pop and had extreme pain in back of left thigh. It took a while before I could get up, but eventually did without putting weight on it. I am able to put a little weight on it now, but pain is quite bad, again in back of left thigh. What should I do?

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you go for an X-Ray hip to rule out any fracture as you are not able to put weight on it and its painful.

Meanwhile, you can take Tab lyser D twice in a day for 3 days or Zerodol MR.

You can write me back for further quires and once your X-Ray is done, upload a picture of it so that I can rule out any fracture present.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
