Suggest Treatment For Throat Irritation
Hi , I have to clear my throat and I feel as if something is stuck in throat while i speak. I am facing this problem since 6 months. I have been told that i am allergic to climatic changes and pollution because of which I have to cough/ clear throat constantly every 15 mins. Medicines prescribed for allery(montair-LC) does not seem to help. This problem seems to get worse in winters. I have been advised to take fluvir which is H1N1 drug. Please advice what to do.

The symptoms as mentioned in your post is attributed to Allergic tracheobronchitis.
Montelukast preparations (like montair-LC) is used as a maintenance therapy to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies.
During acute attacks, you need to take Cetrizine or anti histamine preparations like Allegra which provides symptomatic relief.
The decision regarding administration of Fluvir should be taken by your treating Doctor based on the clinical findings & co-relating them with the investigation reports.
Till then, maintain adequate hydration, proper nutrition & stay well protected from dust, cold & other allergens.

You should take steam with 1TSF tincture benzoin co mixed in water twice a day along with listrene gargles twice a day...........for 3 day........God will help and u will get better......thanks
