Age:28, Height: 5 10, Weight: 90 kgs I ve been getting this sharp pain in the left side of my throat. it happened just after a fever. I had this similar problem about 2 months back. So i find my swallowing of any food/drink a little uncomfortable. I drink as much of water as possible and gargling with salt water for atleast 2-3 times a day. The prescribed medicine at the time of february was Tab Azax 250 (6 for 3 days) and Tab Emlide Plus (10 for 3 days). Is it alright for me to take this same set of medicines again? would be glad if you can help me out with this.
If your symptoms have not improved with above medication then you may use alternative medicine. Use tablet amoxicillin and Clavulinic Acid 625mg for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
