Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have constant thrush. I have tried topical and oral treatments, i have changed my diet, blood and urine tests showed nothing, I no longer have sex and i never use perfumed products. My GP will not refer me to a specialist and says i have to live like this. Do I have any options for getting better?
You do not have to live with persistent oral thrush. You may need to consider a swab to identify the specific fungus so that treatment can be tailored.
You may want to seek a second opinion for assessment and treatment if you are not responding to your current treatment plan.
I hope this helps
