Suggest Treatment For Tiredness And Slurred Speech

My husband feels overtired, his speech is slower, awkward movements, squints his eyes. To me it feels like he had alcohol, but he does not drink. It is not the first time it happens usually after he has done some physical work. Today I have noticed that after he finished hanging Christmas lights. Please let me know what to do. He said he feels fine but he does not look fine to me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is normal to get a more slower speech after a physical activity. To me, you should check his blood pressure and sugar levels to see if they are spiked or reduced.

Depending on his age, you should set an appointment with cardiologist and run a complete cardiac check up to rule out cardiovascular events. Give him plenty of water to keep well hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
