Suggest Treatment For Tremors, Grand Mal Seizure And Cold Left Hand

I am concerned because my left hand is cold, and my right hand is one. I have felt very shaky today. Seven days ago I suffered a grand mal seizure. I have never had a seizure prior to this. Could this be a symptom of another seizure coming on? Or is there another health concern I should be aware of?

Hello,

Grand mal seizure is a serious symptom and is not to be neglected. Causes of grand mal seizure are head trauma, stroke, genetic predisposition, brain tumors, alcohol withdrawal, drugs withdrawal, hypoglycemia, electrolyte disturbances, or neuro-cysticercosis. I suggest complete blood picture, MRI brain, and EEG. Kindly consult a neuro-physician for a detailed clinical examination and few tests to determine the cause of seizures and tremors.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
