Suggest Treatment For Urinary Incontinence And Constipation While Having Parkinson S Disease
Dear Doctor, My father was detected with parkinson in 2014 at the age of 71 and was prescribed with syndopa & other blood pressure drugs. After two years I consulted another neurologist who suggested for MRI. After seeing the MRI he suggested that he is suffering from Vascular Parkinson. He has prescribed with medicines like Rosufit CV-10(Rosuvastatin(10 mg),Clopidogrel(75 mg)) 1 tablet at night, Syndopa-110 3 tablets, Parkitidine(Amantadine(100 mg)) 1/2 tablet, Urimax D & Nephrosafe forte 1 tablets at night. Is he under the right prescription. Moreover what are its stages and life span as I am very worried about him. He is facing difficulty in getting up after sleeping and urine inconsistency in night as well as constipation. Do kindly help me sir.

Suggest Treatment For Urinary Incontinence And Constipation While Having Parkinson S Disease
Hello, * Bulk-forming laxative as Ispaghula husk or else is the best result oriented therapy for constipation. * Dysuria must be evaluated in terms of possible prostate enlargement at this age and ultrasound is must in this regard. However, if you provide all details of his reports as a scanned copy in the follow-up conversation it would be more fruitful to discuss ahead. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
