Suggest Treatment For Urination Difficulty In A Child

Hi. My daughter is 9 years old and she was embarrassed to share with me that she has been having some urinating problems. She said she will go to the bathroom and urinate completely and then about 5 minutes later or so she feels like she has a bubble or bubble sensation (probably in her urethra) and then when the bubble works it's way out or comes out, she experiences dripping....sometimes a little more than others but she said it happens nearly every time after she uses the bathroom and is bothersome to her. Do you know what may be the cause of this? Do I need to take her to see our doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having some urinary tract infection or having some irritation on opening of urethra giving rise this problem.
Having parasitic infection in her gastro-intestinal tract producing irritation producing frequency of urination.
Go for routine urine check up for bacterial infection and stool test.
After report go for treatment accordingly.
Keep her local hygiene clean.
Ok and take care.
