I believe I have urticarial vasculitis. I m a nurse and I feel confident that I have all the symptoms. Hives that are burning and painful in nature which leave perfectly circular bruises the size of a pencil eraser which have been present daily for the last 8 weeks varying in severity and don t really respond to antihistamines. A few days prior to the initial outbreak I had angioedema of my lips and eye and an area on my forehead. How do I ask my doctor about this? Sometimes In the past I have been right about certain concerns but wrong with others. I just don t want to annoy my doctor to the point where she won t want to see me anymore.
