Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Pain During Intercourse
While my boyfriend and I where broken up after I found out he was cheating on me for several months I had three other sexual partners over the course of three months. I used protection but I am now experiencing pain during intercourse, mild cramping in my pelvis, light yellow discharge that has either a frothy or snot like consistency and pain when trying to pass bowel movements.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Pelvic inflammatory disease is a possibility in your case and should be ruled out. A pelvic examination by gynecologist and swab test will be helpful to rule out this. If positive then antibiotic therapy will be required to clear that. Even if it is negative I would recommend a course of doxycycline to be on safe side. Using intimate wash or v wash daily is also good to normalize your vaginal bacterial flora and PH. Let me know if anything not clear. I am happy to help you. Thanks.
