Suggest Treatment For Vertigo, Headaches, And Pain Above Ear
I have been having vertigo, headaches, and pain/pressure above my ear for about 1 1/2 weeks. I went to my PCP and he just handed me a prescription for iburpropen and dramamine. The iburpropen isn't helping and the symptoms are getting worse every day.
Regarding your query for vertigo, headache and pain above the ear for about 1 and 1/2 week and not getting relief by medication as adviced by your family doctor. Here I would like to tell you that most likely you are having vertigo and this may be manage well only after thorough examination and investigation for vestibular function test.
As a rule for effective treatment of vertigo doctor should be clear about-
1- Type of vertigo (central or peripheral).
2- If peripheral than type of pathology (infective, dydrops and vascular insufficiency etc).
Therefore if you are not getting relief by dramamine than consultation with ENT doctor is must for effective treatment.
Regards.
