MY SISTER'S 4 YEAR GIRL CAN'T HEAR SINCE BIRTH.WE CONSULTED MANY DOCTORS ,EVEN IN P.G.I. BUT THEY SAID THE HEARING NERVES OF THE GIRL IS TOO WEAK TO HEAR AND THERE IS NO TREATMENT FOR THIS PROBLEM ALL OVER THE WORLD ,THEY SAID SHE CAN HEAR ONLY VERY LOUD SOUNDS ONLY BY HEARING MACHINE. WE AE VERY HELPLESS AND DISSAPPOINTED. DOC, IS THEIR ANY HOPE FOR OUR PROBLEM ALL OVER THE WORLD. IF YES THEN WHERE.
Of course she has not yet crossed the age of cure. There is a surgical procedure by which a hearing machine can be implanted near her brain through which she will be able to hear and respond almost like a normal person. Its a costly procedure of replacing the sense organ by a machine. The earlier the procedure done better is the response. Hope u will think seriously over this. if needed dont hesitate to contact me.
