Hello,

You are experiencing fullness in the ear, throat, pressure in the head and losing your balance whole day. You have no hearing problem. Fullness in the ears is commonly caused by ear wax build up, foreign body in the outer ear canal, allergic reaction from dust, cosmetics or pollen, exposure to loud sound. Other conditions that may cause fullness in the ears is ear infection due to blockage in the eustachian tube canal due to common cold, bacterial / viral infection, otitis externa, otitis media.

Since you are feeling dizziness, do not drive or do any heavy work. Take Vertin -16 so that you may be comfortable (and may not fall). You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT. Get investigations and audiometry test done. If you have wax, it will be removed by clinical procedure in the OPD, if fluid is detected you will be given conservative treatment (with antibiotics) to reduce congestion. For soreness of the throat, you should gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day. You can take a course of antibiotics (Doxycycline-100). Take steam inhalation once daily, it will help to reduce discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
