Suggest Treatment For Wheezing And Bloated Stomach
hi I have 2nd stage copd with only odd infection last 2 months have been wheezing breathless chesty bloated stomache on second course of amoxicillin and prednisolone when is it going to go away and aslo stuffy blocked nose which I never suffered with please help
A bloated stomach is common in patients with COPD, and this is due to air being trapped, especially in times or exacerbations. You will need good treatment of COPD with inhalers (tiotropium/Ventolin and inhaled Steroids) and oral antibiotics.
Meanwhile, you may take Omeprazole 40 mg 30 minutes before breakfast to help with the stomach. You may need to eat frequent small amounts of food and drink frequent small amounts of fluids to help your stomach not be too extended. It is of paramount importance to quit smoking if you do smoke.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
