Suggest Treatment For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Omnacortil
Daughter was diagnosed with infantile Spasms, was given omnacortil for one month.now she no longer has Spasms but her food intake is very low.sin e two days she is not even having 300 ml milk per day . She has been throwing up a lot. lazonl junior is prescribed. When will she eat normal? How long does it take body to settle from steroids after effects? .it has been one week since she is off steroids. bBy is active and sleeps well

Hi,
Steroids use can cause gastritis and hence may cause loss of appetite and vomiting. I would suggest you should give her Syp Gaviscon and Syp peptiban for a few days.
Of she feels fine you should continue to complete the course fro 2 week. If no improvement, then she should be seen by a doctor to see for other causes of vomiting.
