Suggest Treatment For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Tryptomer
I am having tryptomer 10 mg tablet once a day before bed time for last 2-3 years because of constant neck pain i had. i was getting good night s sleep as well. but now am trying to stop it becoz i got addicted to it and had put on lot of weight inspite of being on diet. i am getting back all sorts of problems like nausea, severe headache, neck pain etc. Unable to cope up with pain and nausea (withdrawal symptoms) How to slowly stop it or do we have an alternative which doesnt put on weight. Please suggest
After going through your query, I can say that if neck pain has resolved then directly stop it. If the pain has been not resolved then switch to tablet ibuprofen for 15 days only. Take advice from your treating doctor for a better alternative. Take hot water compression. Have some physiotherapy exercise for relaxing neck muscles and relief from pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
