Suggest Treatment For Yellow Blisters On Head Of An Infant

Iv noticed that my 18 month old daughter has about 5-6 white-ish yellow blisters in her head surrounded by pinkish (not necessarily red) skin. They re small in size. It s been about 2 weeks now. Its slightly grown in size (spread) since I noticed it. I haven t noticed her scratching at it, but it s not going away either. I m sorry I don t have a picture to share..do you have any idea what this could be and how to treat it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to folliculitis.

For that, you can apply Neosporin powder over it locally.

In case of fever, you can give syp acetaminophen.

Maintain proper hygiene.

Avoid harsh cosmetic products.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale, Family and general physician
