hello doc...i am 20m from jalandhar...i am suffering from acne since 2 years..after administration of isotretinoin is has reduced but not totally gone....and i have a lot of scars...can i know the fastest treatment that i can have...now i am using salicylic acid and clobetasol propionate gel....
Wash your face with a pH balanced face wash, preferably a one containing 1-2% salicylic acid. You may apply a gel containing clindamycin 1% in the morning over pimples and Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel at night over pimple prone areas. Get these prescribed by your doctor.
First of all you should not use isoteritenoin and steroid like clobetasol for long times as there are many side effects when used long time . These medicines gives good results initially but then they start damaging your skin , so stop there use immediately .
I would suggest you to :-
Use facewash containing benzoyl peroxide twice a day . wash face with colf water .
Use cream containing azelaic acid twice a day , which is a natural extract of cereals and safe for long term use .
Dring at least 8 glasses of water in a day .
Start taking viatmin C supplement for quick healing of scars .
I condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper examination .
Doctor may prescribe topical retinoids or prescribe oral antibiotics ( clindamycin ) course for at least 10 days .

It can worsen your acne very badly and also cause side effects like rosacea, thinning of skin and white patches. Use isotretinoin under your doctor s supervision. Hope this helps you. Take care.
