General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

To get rid of Shingles you need to take your prescribed antiviral medications along with analgesics & nerve pain relieving medication.

You can also help yourself with we compress, oatmeal bath & application of calamine or Soframycin creams.

Before taking Botox you should consult your treating doctor. There is a such no cure for Shingles but medicines can help healing & reduce complications.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
