Hi, thank you for posting.
I have gone through your query very carefully.
Your symptoms might be related to Hiatal
hernia. Hiatal hernia is the protrusion of the upper part of the stomach into the thorax.
To treat this disease you should follow these precautions:
1. When you have pain you should drink 1 glass of water of room temperature.
2. Eliminate spicy foods, sauces, coffee and milk from your diet.
3. Elevate the head of the bed.
4. Lose weight, if you are
overweight.
5. Reduce
stress.
6. Use
Esomeprazole 40 mg 1 pill a day, 1 hour before you eat. Continue taking this medicine for 5-6 weeks.
The diagnosis is determined by the following tests:
1. Thorax X-ray.
2. Fibrogastroscopy(
Endoscopy).
You should contact your gastroenterologist to discuss about the treatment.
I hope you find this helpful.
All the best.
Dr. Behar.
