Suggest Treatments For Viral Fever
My wife is having a heavy fever for last 5 days. The doctor gave her a medicine panadeine 1tab tds for 5 days, Oncet (cetirizine d.c. 10mg) 1tab od (night) for 5 days, and Augmentin 650mg 1tab bd after food for 5 days. But she is still suffering fever and body pain with tiredness. Please let me know the best treatment for viral fever. Thanks you with regards Ahmed Ali Didi +0000

If fever is persisting even after 5 days, you should get her investigated.
I would advise you following :
1. Hemogram with ESR
2. LFT
3. KFT
4. Widal Test
5. Urine R/E
Till then just take Tab Crocin as on when required basis.
