Suggest Ways To Lose Body Weight And Control Blood Sugar Levels

Good evening I am what doctors call pretty diabetic, I m 5 3, 175 pds., I am over weight with extra belly fat, other then that I m very muscular in and arms legs, I am a little concerned about my sugar it is 182, wondering if I should start trying to loss some of the weight and maybe get the levels back down, how concerned should I be at this time. Diabetes does run in my family. I also have times when my feet turn purple and hand go numb. Please advise!

Hi. I appreciate your concern.As per your concern you need to concentrate on two things which will bring your blood sugar and your excess sugar level to normal healthy level.Some precautions in your diet and a bit change in your lifestyle will solve all your problems....Start your day with a glass of lukewarm water with lemon and honey in it.It will be beneficial for you in every way.Daily work out in form of jogging,swimming or cycling.morning or evening walk can also be the choice.If not possible you can join any yoga class also... Apart from this ,you also need to bring some changes in your diet like avoiding sugar,potatoes and white rice.Oil for cooking food can be extra virgin olive or coconut oil.You can take green tea which contains antioxidants .For sweets you can depend on honey or sugarfree .taking cereals rich in fibres like oats,brown rice or breads will be a healthy choice for you digestive system. Green leafy vegetables and bitter gourd will be very helpful in any form.Do not take large quantity of food at once but should be in breaks of some hours. Don't become exhausted in bringing these changes. It will work slowly and your blood sugar and excess fat both will be reduced soon.Start it to follow as early to prevent any further problems because a range of diseases are related to diabetes.
