Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have gained quite a lot of weight in the past 9 months (40 lbs). I attribute this to poor eating habits and a stressful period in my life. Recently I am having pains that are affecting how I move. Around my ankles (like the top of my foot and along the back of my foot up to about two inches above my ankle. My right hip, lower back. I am limping and it is a significant pain, probably a 6-7 rating. I feel like I have fallen or been in a car accident. Other concerns is I feel like I have a bad body odor no matter how much I wash. Is this due to the weight gain or should I be concerned? Note: I am currently focusing on healthy eating and calorie counting but as you know a lifestyle change will take time.
