Suggest Ways To Wean Off Trileptal

I want to wean myself off of Trileplat. I am on 1.5 pills twice a day . I do not like the way it makes me feel. After surgery on 20/24/16, 11/2/16 , I became nauseous , had not eaten much since surgery . I was on my way to ER, BEFORE I could get in the car, I had a seizure. An EEG nor MRI showed anything going on on My head.

Hello,

The vomiting /nauseating sensation can be treated with proton pump inhibitors (Histac) or liver supplements with your doctor's advice.
If not relieved/if there is need to change or stop anti epileptics.

Weaning off of the drug Trileplat needs to be done very gradually under supervision of the treating doctor's care to avoid certain serious complication. Doctor would then assess and decide to stop or to change the medicine as per your health permits.
