Suggested Remedies For Upper Respiratory Infection
My symptoms started with a sore throat and then runny/ congested nose cough fever. I went to Er on Wednesday because I felt dehydrated even though I've been drinking a ton of fluid. Sore throat no longer present when I went they said I had a upper respitory infection today new systems red eyes and pain in lower back still feel very dehydrated but urinating normally
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection which is causing pain in lower back as well. Need not to worry.
I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist/ pulmonologist once for proper diagnosis Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like Amoxiclav at least for 10 days along with decongestant and anti inflammatory.
For now do warm saline gargles.
You should take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses.
You can apply warm compressors on cheek side near ear as well to relieve pressure.
