My recent blood test revealed the following: erythrocyte (RBC) count Low 3.90 MILLION/MM3 Rng:4.00-5.20 erythrocyte (RBC) count Low 3.90 MILLION/MM3 Rng:4.00-5.20 mean corpuscular hemoglobin, RBC High 34.3 Rng:26.0-34.0 mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, RBC Normal 34.6 G/DL Rng:32.0-36.0
Hello and welcome to HCM, A complete hemogram report along with findings of peripheral blood smear is required to know about the status of blood. The report posted by you shows low red blood cell count, a high mean corpuscular hemoglobin and a normal mean corpuscle hemoglobin concentration.
Low red blood cell count can be due to blood less. High MCH is seen megaloblastic anemia. However it is not possible to diagnose the condition with a single investigation.
